Tenth workshop: How to learn Bulgarian through play

On 8 June 2020 we held the tenth workshop with pupils from 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade of “St. Paisii Hilendarski” Secondary School, Plovdiv. Mrs. Kokosharova conducted the outdoor lesson. All participants wore vests and hats with the project logo.

That workshop was attended by students whose mother tongue was not Bulgarian, students with learning difficulties and students who did well with the school study material.

The aim for the pupils was to learn Bulgarian language in the form of a game. Mrs. Kokosharova pointed out child by child and set an individual task for each one of them. The children had to fulfill the task. Mrs. Kokosharova had to repeat the tasks several times, and in some cases there was even an intervention of another teacher who performed the assigned tasks together with the children.

The workshop lasted 30 minutes. The children had fun and performed their tasks with pleasure.

The workshop was organized by Ms. Grudeva and Ms. Ikimova, and realized by Ms. Kokosharova, as the tenth workshop within the project, aiming to include students with learning difficulties and students whose mother tongue is not Bulgarian to fully participate in the learning process.
